How to trade safely in Grow a Garden

What you can trade

Only pets and harvested crops can be traded in Grow a Garden — seeds, eggs, gear, and Sheckles can't. You'll need a Trading Ticket (from the Gear Shop) to open a trade, and you can put up to 13 items in at once.

Step by step

• Find a trade (or post your own) and agree the exact items.
• Add the other player as a friend or join their server.
• Open the trade and both put in the items you agreed on.
• Double-check every item — its mutations and weight — and that the username matches.
• Both confirm. There's a short countdown, so re-check right before it finishes.

Check the username + the mutations

Make sure the Roblox username matches the person you arranged with — scammers copy display names. And check the mutations and weight on each item in the trade window, because those change the value a lot. Trade only what's shown in the window.

Scams to avoid

• Never 'trust trade' or add items 'later' — only trade what's in the window now.
• Watch for a swapped item right before confirm (a different crop/pet, or one with weaker mutations).
• You never need a middleman — a normal trade doesn't.

Check values first
