How trading works in MM2
MM2 trading is item-for-item — knives, guns, and pets swap directly, with no in-game money involved. The community measures items in 'value' points to keep trades fair, but those are reference points, not a price. A trade is only fair if both players are happy.
Step by step
- Find a trade (or post your own) and agree the exact items.
- Add the other player as a friend, or join their server.
- Open the in-game trade and both put in the items you agreed on.
- Check every item — and that it's the real one, not a swapped duplicate.
- Both confirm. There's a short countdown, so re-check right before it ends.
MM2 scams to avoid
- Trust trade — never hand your godly over first and trust them to 'send it back'. Use the trade window so both sides swap at once.
- Last-second swap — they show a Godly, then drop in a cheap dupe right before confirm. Re-check the window before you accept.
- Sharking — lying about an item's value (often with a fake value list) to underpay you. Check a real value list first.
- Fake middlemen — you never need a third person to 'hold' items. A normal trade doesn't use one.
Check the username + values first
Make sure the Roblox @username matches the person you arranged with — scammers copy display names. Then run both sides through the Win / Fair / Lose calculator so you know it's roughly even before you commit.
