Trading rules

In Tap Simulator, trading happens in the Trade Plaza — also called the Trade Island — a separate teleport server the developers added purely for player-to-player trading so swaps don't lag the main game. You reach it through the large orange "Trade Plaza" portal near spawn, then either browse other players' booths or set up your own to swap pets and items directly, one side's pets for the other's. The plaza has trade-only chat and open space to show off pets, and while the area itself is safe you still have to watch for scammers, so inspect the exact pet and variant and make sure both sides agree before a deal goes through. Values in the community trade list are quoted in Gems as a shared yardstick — they are reference points for rarity and demand, not a set price and not anything you can cash out.

Pets are the heart of the Tap Simulator economy, and nearly every deal is one pet — or a stack of pets — swapped directly for another. What gives a pet standing in a trade comes down to its rarity tier (Secret II, Secret I, Mythics, Exclusive, and Leaderboard Pets), its evolution variant (the base Normal pet plus the crafted Golden, Rainbow, and Shiny versions that stack multipliers), and how many players actually want it right now. Event-locked pets tend to sit at the very top — Leaderboard rewards like Divine Celestia and Exclusive drops like Chronos or Krampus carry far more pull than a common hatch — and live demand can lift or sink a pet's standing well beyond what its raw multiplier suggests.

All trading is done inside the Trade Plaza (also called the Trade Island), a separate teleport server the developers built so swaps happen off the main game and stay lag-free. Reach it through the big orange Trade Plaza portal near spawn, then browse other players' booths or set up your own and offer pets and items directly. There is trade-only chat and open space to show your pets; the area itself is safe, but nothing moves until you and the other trader both agree, so it pays to slow down before you confirm.

Because there is no official rate card, most disputes come down to mismatched expectations, and scammers lean on urgency — "quick trade before I log," last-second booth swaps, or passing a Golden off as a Rainbow. Slow down, inspect the exact pet, tier, and variant, and never rush the confirmation. A community value list is the best tool you have, but treat it as a shared reference point for relative rarity and demand — not a fixed price. If both traders agree the swap feels even, it is even, whatever a chart says.

Tap Simulator trading FAQ

Does TradingKeep charge any fees?

No — TradingKeep is completely free. There are no fees and we never take a cut of your trades.

How does trading Tap Simulator items work?

It's item-for-item, player-to-player trading. You post the item you have — and the rolls it came with — plus what you'd take for it. Other players make offers, you accept the one you like, and you complete the trade in-game. No middlemen, no money.

Is any real money involved?

No. TradingKeep is item-for-item only. Real-money and gift-card offers break game rules and are banned here — report anyone who tries.

How does TradingKeep stop scams?

Several ways at once: trade-verified reviews so a trader's history is real, chat that renders every link as plain text so phishing can't land, a dual-confirm step on every trade, and a report system tied to visible outcomes.

What is a "trade-verified" review?

A review you can trust: it unlocks only after a completed trade that both sides confirmed. No drive-by ratings and no review-bombing.

Do my listings expire?

Listings stay live for 30 days and can be bumped every 6 hours to stay near the top. Done trading? Cancel a listing any time.
