Tap Simulator trading

Pets are the heart of the Tap Simulator economy, and nearly every deal is one pet — or a stack of pets — swapped directly for another. What gives a pet standing in a trade comes down to its rarity tier (Secret II, Secret I, Mythics, Exclusive, and Leaderboard Pets), its evolution variant (the base Normal pet plus the crafted Golden, Rainbow, and Shiny versions that stack multipliers), and how many players actually want it right now. Event-locked pets tend to sit at the very top — Leaderboard rewards like Divine Celestia and Exclusive drops like Chronos or Krampus carry far more pull than a common hatch — and live demand can lift or sink a pet's standing well beyond what its raw multiplier suggests.

All trading is done inside the Trade Plaza (also called the Trade Island), a separate teleport server the developers built so swaps happen off the main game and stay lag-free. Reach it through the big orange Trade Plaza portal near spawn, then browse other players' booths or set up your own and offer pets and items directly. There is trade-only chat and open space to show your pets; the area itself is safe, but nothing moves until you and the other trader both agree, so it pays to slow down before you confirm.

Because there is no official rate card, most disputes come down to mismatched expectations, and scammers lean on urgency — "quick trade before I log," last-second booth swaps, or passing a Golden off as a Rainbow. Slow down, inspect the exact pet, tier, and variant, and never rush the confirmation. A community value list is the best tool you have, but treat it as a shared reference point for relative rarity and demand — not a fixed price. If both traders agree the swap feels even, it is even, whatever a chart says.
