How to trade safely in Toilet Tower Defense

How a trade works in TTD
Every trade in Toilet Tower Defense happens through the in-game trade window, and it's item-for-item. You put up your units, the other player puts up theirs, and you both confirm the same window. Gems (the in-game currency) can be added to even out a swap. There's no real money anywhere. On TradingKeep you line the deal up first, check it's fair, then meet in-game to swap for real.
Step by step
- Agree the exact units (and any Gems) for both sides before you start.
- Look up every unit on the community value list and run both sides through the Win / Fair / Lose calculator.
- Open the in-game trade window with the other player.
- Both add exactly what you agreed — the right units, and the Gems if any.
- Read every unit carefully: the exact unit, and whether it's the Shiny or Duped version.
- Re-check the whole window right before you confirm, then both confirm to finish.
Always check Shiny, Duped, and the @username
- Shiny — the golden variant, worth more than the normal unit. Make sure the Shiny you were promised is actually the one showing in the window, not just described.
- Duped — an exploited copy the community treats as worth far less. If a high-value unit looks too good to be real, treat it as Duped until you've confirmed it's clean.
- @username — confirm the exact Roblox @username matches the person you arranged with. Scammers copy display names and profile pictures to pose as a known trader.
- Gems — if the deal includes Gems, check the amount in the window matches what you agreed.
TTD scams to avoid
- Trust trade — they ask you to hand your unit over first and 'send it back' after. Never trade on trust; use the trade window so both sides swap at once.
- Duped-as-real — a Duped unit passed off as a clean one. It's treated as worth far less, so verify the variant before you confirm.
- Last-second swap — they change a unit right before you hit confirm. Re-read the whole window at the last moment.
- Sharking — lying about a unit's value (often with a fake value list) to rush you into a Lose. Check a real value list yourself.
- Phishing sites — never enter your Roblox password on a 'free Gems' or 'free units' site. Those steal your account; TTD units are only ever traded in-game.
Before you confirm
- Re-read every unit and any Gems on both sides one final time.
- Confirm no unit quietly turned into a Duped version.
- Make sure the WFL calculator lands the trade at Fair or better for you.
- If anything feels rushed or off, back out. There's always another trade.
