How to Trade in Garden Tower Defense

Atualizado em julho de 2026

Unlock trading first: 25 Victories

Trading in Garden Tower Defense is not open from the start: you need 25 Victories — 25 map wins — before the game lets you trade, a requirement enforced since update v1.3.0. If the trade options are locked for you or your partner, this gate is almost always why. Get the wins in first; everything below assumes both traders are past it.

The three ways to trade

Once trading is unlocked, Garden Tower Defense gives you three venues, and each covers a different job.

  • The Trading UI — open it from the Trade icon on the left of the screen to trade directly, player-to-player
  • Trade Matchmaking — reached from the button inside the Trading UI or the Trade Matchmaking Stand in the lobby; advertise your own trade or browse other players' ads and teleport to them across servers
  • The Trading Plaza — a dedicated trading hub entered through a portal in the Lobby, where every player can claim a free Trading Booth displaying "What I Have" and "What I Want"
  • Private servers: direct trading through the Trading UI still works there — only Trade Matchmaking is unavailable

What you can trade

The tradeable pool covers units across every rarity tab, plus a handful of Game Pass gift items — but never the currencies.

  • Units — including offsale and seasonal releases; anything carrying the "Limited" tag can now only be obtained through trading
  • Trophy variants — Gold, Silver, Bronze, Glass, and Rainbow versions count as separate items in their own right
  • Game Pass gift items — x2 Presents, the VIP Gift, and x2 Seeds Gift
  • NOT Seeds or Flowers — the in-game currencies can never be handed to another player

Setting up a trade, step by step

  • Agree on the exact trade first — on TradingKeep or in chat — so there are no surprises in the window
  • Meet up in-game: open the Trading UI from the Trade icon, use Trade Matchmaking to teleport to your partner, or find them at their Trading Plaza booth
  • Add your items and wait for your partner to add theirs
  • Read every item name carefully, including the trophy variant — Gold versus Glass matters
  • If anything changes at the last second, back out and rebuild the trade before confirming

Check fairness before you accept

Look up both sides on the community value list, or drop the whole trade into our free Win / Fair / Lose (WFL) calculator. Values are a community reference point, not a price — but a big gap between the two sides is a good reason to pause. Remember that some units in every rarity tab are still unvalued, so treat those as a bonus to negotiate rather than a known quantity.

Finding trades on TradingKeep

Post a listing with the units you are offering and the ones you want in return, or browse other traders' listings by rarity tab. When you find a match, send an offer, agree on the details, then finish the swap in-game through the Trading UI. It is all free, and every trade stays player-to-player — TradingKeep never touches your items.
