Values in Toilet Tower Defense are community estimates of how in-demand a unit is, expressed in Gems so everyone has a common scale to line up a trade. They aren't set by the developers and they aren't a store price — they're a snapshot of what traders have generally been willing to swap for, and they shift as new events, crates, and dupe waves change how many copies are in circulation.

For this game, scarcity is the single biggest factor. Limited event units, vaulted or discontinued crate units, and older releases that can no longer be obtained tend to sit highest, because supply is capped while interest keeps flowing. Variant status stacks on top of that: Shiny versions are ranked separately and almost always land well above the normal copy, while duped units are pushed far down, since exploit-made duplicates flood supply and carry trade restrictions. Signatures nudge values up too, with genuine developer signatures counting for much more than a common YouTuber one, and headline Titan-class units anchor the top of most lists. Many value lists also show a Demand score (roughly how wanted a unit is, out of 10) and a Stability note (how steady or volatile it has been) — both are worth reading, because a high value with low demand can be hard to actually trade away.

Use the ranking to judge fairness: line up what each side is offering, compare the totals, and factor in demand and how easily each unit moves, not just the headline number. If one side is stacking easy-to-get filler to "match" a single rare, that's a red flag even when the Gems technically add up. Treat the list as a reference point that keeps both traders honest — the fair trade is the one you and your partner agree on after checking it, not the number itself.
