Because trades happen with no in-game protection or middleman system, this community's scams all come down to getting you to give up your item first. Cross-trading — swapping an STK knife for Robux, another game's items, or anything off-platform — leaves you zero recourse if the other side vanishes, and every "trust trade," where you hand yours over on a promise to be paid back, is simply theft waiting to happen.
