The Mad Murderer X has no official in-game RAP or shop sticker for traded items, so the values you see here are community estimates — a reading of how items actually change hands, tracked on lists like msvalues.com. They form out of the game's own systems. Scarcity is the foundation: an item's obtainment source (a limited Event drop, a retired Collector Shop release, an event Pass reward, or something still available in the regular Shop) sets how many copies can exist, and seasonal Collector's Items freeze in supply the moment their season ends. Layered on top is demand — the community's live pull toward a piece — and the "Early" distinction, since the short-run alternate-palette version of a seasonal item is far rarer than the regular one that shares its name.

A ranking here is relative standing, not a price. An item near the top — a Volcano, a Lava, a Candy Gun — is one many traders actively chase and few can supply, while lower entries are more common or have cooled off. Each item also carries a demand read, which is why two pieces with similar scarcity can still sit apart: the one people want right now trades stronger than the one that's merely rare. Treat the number as a reference point for how items compare, not as cash you're owed.

To judge whether a trade is fair, lay out everything on both sides, see where those items land on the list, and check that the two piles sit in the same neighborhood — factoring in demand, not just the headline value, since a high-value item nobody's chasing is harder to move than a slightly lower one everyone wants. Confirm you're comparing the right versions, too: an "Early" variant and its regular counterpart are different items despite the shared name. Values drift as seasons rotate, new boxes drop, and hype moves, so let the list ground the conversation and then trust your own read of current demand. It's a community reference point for an item-for-item trade, never a price.
