Steal a Brainrot is all about the brainrots themselves — the wild characters you collect, protect, and swap with other players. On this hub you trade brainrot-for-brainrot: no money changes hands, ever. What makes one brainrot worth more than another comes down to three things stacking together. First is where it sits on the rarity ladder, running low to high through Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Brainrot God, Secret, OG, and Admin at the very top. Second is its one mutation — a brainrot carries at most one mutation — from Gold and Diamond up through Bloodrot, Candy, Lava, Galaxy, Rainbow, and Phantom, plus rarer ones like Divine, Cyber, and Yin Yang — and the bigger the mutation, the more it lifts value. Third is traits, which unlike mutations do stack: Strawberry, Meowl, John Pork, Skibidi, and event traits are permanent boosters, and a brainrot wearing several of them climbs well past a plain one.

Trades happen at the in-game Trade Machine. Walk up, press E, and invite the other player by their exact username — brainrots are what you can put on the table, and since the Summer Update, Seasonal Base Skins too. Note that brainrot bases and mutation bases are not tradeable, so don't plan a deal around those. Always confirm the @username in the window matches the person you meant to trade with, and re-check the whole window one more time right before anyone hits Ready.

A couple of scams show up constantly here. Quantity bait is the big one: someone piles up a stack of low Secrets that looks impressive but together adds up to less than a single high-tier brainrot — count the real value, not the pile. Watch for last-second swaps too, where a trader quietly changes their side of the window just before Ready hoping you won't look again. And treat any "free brainrot" website or link as phishing.
