How values & WFL work in Toilet Tower Defense

Values are community reference points
A Toilet Tower Defense value is roughly what the community agrees a unit is worth in trades, measured in Gems — the in-game currency. It's not a real-money price and not an official number. Nothing is bought or sold; every deal is item-for-item. The value just gives everyone a shared yardstick to compare two units and see whether a swap is balanced.
Why Gems are the yardstick
Gems are tradeable in-game, so the community leans on them to compare very different units — from an OG unit to a rare event one. When the value list shows a unit at a certain number of Gems, it means the community treats that unit and that many Gems as roughly interchangeable in a fair trade, not that you're paying anything.
What moves a unit's value
- Rarity — a unit's rarity tier sets a rough baseline, but it isn't the whole story.
- Event & exclusivity — event and limited units that can no longer be obtained often sit at the very top.
- Shiny — the golden variant is worth more than the normal unit.
- Duped — an exploited copy is treated as worth far less, and carries a trust risk.
- Demand — units everyone wants right now drift up (we show a High / Med / Low badge); units that fall out of the meta drift down.
- Supply — the more common a unit is in circulation, the lower its value tends to be.
Win / Fair / Lose (WFL)
WFL just means: is a trade a Win, Fair, or a Lose for you? Add what you give and what you get to the calculator and it totals both sides in Gems. Green means you come out ahead, red means you'd give more than you get, and the middle means it's about even. Use it as a sanity check, not a rule that must be obeyed.
Using values without getting sharked
- Look up every unit on the community value list before you agree.
- Run the whole trade through the WFL calculator — both sides at once.
- Remember a Shiny is worth more and a Duped far less, so confirm which one you're actually getting.
- Don't let anyone rush you past a Lose result. Values move, but not that fast.
