On top of tier sits meta strength: a unit that carries you through the tower-defense loop, holding a lane or shredding waves, will always be wanted more than a same-tier unit that underperforms. Event availability matters too, because a unit that was only obtainable during a limited event stops entering circulation once that window closes, and demand does the rest, shifting as strategies and updates change what the community chases.

Scams in Five Nights TD follow predictable patterns, so learn them. The classic switch-before-confirm move is when a scammer shows a valuable unit, then swaps it for a lesser one in the final second before you accept, so read the exact units on the table right before you hit confirm, not when the window first opens. Refuse trust trades where you send first and wait on a promise, and never let anyone pull you off-platform to some outside deal or middleman. Only ever trade inside the in-game trade window, and re-check both sides before you confirm.
