Royale High is a dress-up and fashion game, and its trading scene revolves around the things you wear: halos, accessories, full outfit sets, skirts, wings, and the seasonal items that rotate out of the game. Diamonds, the in-game currency you earn from attending school, exploring campus, and completing daily activities, act as the community's reference unit, and traders will often add Diamonds alongside items to even out a trade. At the very top of the ladder sit the halos won from the seasonal Fountain during holiday and event periods. Because each halo is dated by the year and season it debuted (think of names like the Halloween Halo 2019 or a Mermaid Halo), and because winning one is a luck-based chance rather than a guaranteed reward for a correct fountain answer, the older and rarer halos with low total win counts are the most coveted trophies in the game.
What actually drives an item's trade demand here is scarcity plus looks. Once a seasonal halo's event ends it becomes permanently unobtainable, so its "population" (how many were ever won) stops growing and can only shrink as accounts go inactive. A halo with a small win count and a striking, hard-to-recreate design will pull far more interest than one with tens of thousands of copies in circulation. The same logic applies to retired and limited-release sets and skirts: a limited holiday or charity set that can no longer be obtained carries weight precisely because no new copies are entering circulation.
Trading has real rules to know, too. You need to be level 75 to trade, it happens in the Intergalactic Trading Hub, the Global Player Realm, or Luna Lagoon during a full moon, you can move up to 40 items per trade, and players in a few regions (such as South Korea and the Netherlands) can't access the hub at all.
Two scam patterns are worth burning into memory. First, "try on" or borrowing scams: someone asks to hold your halo "just to see how it looks," but halos can't use the in-game Try On feature, so handing one over means it's gone. Second, trust trading and cross-trading, where someone wants a deal done in parts or offers Robux or items from another game. Always complete a full trade in a single window, never in stages, and never cross-trade. Treat any community value list as a reference point for negotiation, not a fixed rate, since scarcity and demand shift with every new event.
