Tap Simulator has no official RAP or developer price index, so the numbers you see come from the trading community itself — players comparing hatch odds, click multipliers, variant scarcity, and how often a given pet actually gets requested. Those observations are collected into value lists measured in Gems, the game's common yardstick, so a Magmasaur and a Divine Celestia can be lined up on the same scale even though they come from very different tiers.

A value here is a measure of relative standing, never a price. It tells you roughly how a pet sits against the rest of the roster — that a Leaderboard reward like Divine Celestia towers over a common Secret I, or that a low-demand pet can trade under a lower-tier one that players actually want — but it is not money and cannot be cashed out. Demand matters as much as the headline number: a pet with a high value but low demand can be slow to move, while a wanted pet trades quickly even a tier down.

Judging a fair trade is simple in practice: line up both sides on the same Gem yardstick, factor in demand, and aim to keep the two within a small margin of each other. Use the list to spot lopsided offers and to sanity-check a booth before you confirm — then let the two players, not the chart, settle the deal.
