Rarity sets the rough range — Epic and Legendary units form the broad middle, while Mythic, Special Grade, and Ascended units climb toward the top — and scarcity moves things from there, since event, Anniversary, and evolution units that can no longer be farmed hold their standing as supply stops growing.
